GLAM_SCAN offers bespoke 3D services to the Australian galleries, libraries, archives and museum (GLAM) sector. This includes advanced 3D digitisation, bespoke data visualisation and immersive experiences, as well as training and consulting.

Founded by artist and ANU Senior Lecturer Dr Baden Pailthorpe, GLAM_SCAN draws on Baden’s deep experience and expertise in cutting edge digital tools.

With a particular strength in First Nations cultural protocol and cultural safety, GLAM_SCAN applies the principles of Indigenous Data Sovereignty and ICIP to all the work we do. This includes IP transfers to traditional owners at no extra cost.

We don’t use cloud compute or data processing, and we can adapt our approach to specific cultural and kinship contexts.
